Since 1894 there has been a potluck the first Saturday of each month. September – May at 6:00 p.m. Each month we pick a local charity or program to help so join for us for some good eatin’ and good causes.

Speical Events/ Fundraisers

MSCA have various events and fundraisers throughout the year to help with the Maintenence of our building and property.

GENERATOR FUND RAISER:

We recently finished up a fundraising event to purchase a generator so that we may be a place for those to come and charge a phone, have a meal, get cool during a hurricane or weather event. A very big THANK YOU to our generous community members who donated funds and to our State Rep. Jennifer Fidler and Sen. Chris Elliott for their efforts in helping secure a grant. Gulf Coast RC& D council awarded MSCA a $12,500 grant. This grant helped purchase and install the generator and the underground utilities.

MSCA is Awarded Alabama Historical Commission Grant

We have some exciting news to share!
The Magnolia Springs Community Association has been awarded a $53,249.25 preservation grant to help restore our beloved Community Hall!
This incredible award brings our total preservation funds to $119,950.25, putting us more than halfway toward our $200,000 goal to preserve this treasured gathering place for generations to come.
We’re especially proud because this was the very first grant proposal written by our current board. Their hard work, countless hours, and dedication have brought a tremendous gift to our community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported this effort through donations, sponsorships, volunteering, attending our events, and believing in the importance of preserving the heart of Magnolia Springs. Every contribution has helped us reach this milestone.
We’re halfway there… and with the continued support of this wonderful community, we’ll make it all the way! Here’s to preserving our history and protecting the place where our community has gathered for more than 130 years.
